Paraburdoo Hospital Redevelopment

Paraburdoo

Overview

The Paraburdoo Hospital Redevelopment is a significant investment in regional healthcare, designed to deliver modern, integrated services for the local community.

The project involves the design and construction of a new facility on the existing hospital site, incorporating an emergency department, short-stay inpatient unit, primary and community care services, and a private GP clinic.

This redevelopment aims to provide a flexible model of care, ensuring patients have access to a comprehensive range of clinical treatment and short-stay services close to home.

The emergency department will be equipped to manage urgent care needs. The Ambulatory Care Department will include child health and development services that will support early intervention and family care.

Enhanced diagnostic capabilities and a private GP clinic will improve access to primary care and support continuity of treatment within the community.

This project is currently in planning. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2026.
