The New Tom Price Hospital redevelopment marks a transformative investment in regional Western Australia's healthcare infrastructure. This purpose-built facility is designed to meet the evolving needs of the local community, delivering comprehensive, high-quality care in a modern and efficient environment.
The New Tom Price Hospital is being delivered in partnership between the State Government and Rio Tinto, which has committed $20 million towards the project.
At the heart of the redevelopment is a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, equipped to handle a wide spectrum of medical situations. It will feature spaces for critical care, urgent medical needs, subacute care and mental health.
The hospital will also include a four-bed inpatient ward, offering short-term accommodation for patients requiring observation or recovery. This compact yet functional ward ensures continuity of care while maintaining a personal and comfortable setting.
