Bunbury Hospital Redevelopment

Bunbury

Overview

The Bunbury Hospital Redevelopment project is the largest investment in regional health infrastructure in Western Australia’s history.

When complete, the Bunbury Hospital will be the largest hospital in regional WA, supporting its role as a modern community healthcare hub for the South West community.

Hospital services will continue throughout construction. Works are being delivered in carefully planned stages to minimise impacts and ensure patients, visitors and staff can continue to access safe, high-quality care.

Main construction works are anticipated to be completed in early 2028 with hospital services progressively becoming operational from mid‑2028.

The Emergency Department Short Stay Unit and G block light refurbishment will be completed by mid‑2029.
