Overview


The Geraldton Health Campus Redevelopment project is delivering a modern, fit for purpose healthcare facility for the community in Geraldton and the Mid-West.

The Radiation Oncology Unit will be the first of its kind in the Mid-West region, making it easier for patients to access this life saving care closer to home.

Construction on this project commenced in 2024. Main works on the hospital will be completed in June 2026 with the Radiation Oncology Unit on schedule for completion in early 2027.

  • Advanced critical care facilities delivered via new new Intensive Care Unit and High Dependency Unit beds, alongside a cancer treatment facility, providing local high-level care.
  • Purpose‑built spaces for integrated alcohol and drug services, therapy and assessment to strengthen recovery and support community wellbeing.
  • Interview rooms, isolation facilities and behavioural observation beds will help create safer spaces for patients and staff.
  • Modern infrastructure and engineering upgrades enhance the reliability, efficiency and sustainability of healthcare delivery across the campus.
