Wilman Wadandi Highway opened to traffic in late 2024 and is the biggest road project ever delivered in Western Australia's South West.

Minor finishing works are underway across a range of areas including roadworks, landscaping and artwork.

The new road diverts around 15,000 vehicles from local Bunbury roads every day, reducing congestion and delivering safer and more efficient journeys. It provides better access to Bunbury-Geographe and the wider South West region, improving traffic flow and freight efficiency.

The 27-kilometre Wilman Wadandi Highway also features 17-kilometres of shared paths to significantly enhance walking, riding and wheeling in the South West.

The Northern Section from Forrest Highway to Boyanup Picton Road provides better access to Bunbury CBD and Ferguson Valley.

The Southern Section from South Western Highway to Bussell Highway includes a ‘Y’ interchange at Bussell Highway and Centenary Road, and a connection to Jules Road.
