Project

Royal Perth Hospital Emergency Department Redevelopment

Perth

Overview

The new Emergency Department at Royal Perth Hospital is a major infrastructure initiative designed to enhance emergency healthcare capacity and improve patient outcomes.

Once complete, the facility will support more efficient and responsive emergency services.

A new six-storey building will be constructed at the northern end of the Royal Perth Hospital site, as part of Stage 1 of the hospital redevelopment.

The new building will be connected to the existing hospital via a connection link to ensure integration with current hospital services.

Of this, two floors will be dedicated to a new, purpose-built Emergency Department activating a significantly larger footprint and incorporating modern design standards.

Construction is expected to commence in 2026.
