The Wadandi Track is a multipurpose trail which will extend to nearly 110 km, making it one of the longest rail trails in Australia.

Named after the Traditional Owners of the land, the Wadandi Track is currently 46 km long across two sections: Busselton Jetty to Carbunup River (west of Vasse) and Cowaramup to Calgardup Road (south of Witchcliffe).

The project includes new and refurbished bridges, various smaller water crossings and new sections of track, delivering safer and more comfortable walking, wheeling and riding experiences between Busselton and Augusta.

The Department of Transport is collaborating with the City of Busselton and Shire of Augusta Margaret River to plan and deliver the project, which will enable the final 63 km of track to be completed.

Expansion of the Wadandi Track is fully funded as part of the State Government’s $165 million Outdoor Adventure Tourism package.
