A series of safety and efficiency improvements are being delivered to improve travel between Perth, Toodyay and surrounding suburbs.
Road widening and the installation of safety barriers from Aspen Road to Dryandra Road (metropolitan area) is largely complete.
Upgrades from Dryandra Road to Goomalling Toodyay Road in the Wheatbelt will include passing lanes and heavy vehicle climbing lanes, shoulder widening / sealing and installation of audible edge lining, plus intersection improvements along the route.
Improvements to Jingaling Brook and Clackline-Toodyay Road to Toodyay have been completed. Works on the remaining sections are expected to commence in late-2024, with expected completion in 2026.
