A series of safety and efficiency improvements are being delivered to improve travel between Perth, Toodyay and surrounding suburbs.

Works on the remaining sections are expected to commence in late 2025, with anticipated completed in late 2027.

Two sections of the Toodyay Road Upgrade, at Jingaling Brook and from Clackline-Toodyay Road have been completed.

The remaining upgrades from Dryandra Road to Goomalling Toodyay Road in the Wheatbelt will include road widening, various intersection improvements and four passing lanes.

This section of Toodyay Road is currently used by over 2,800 vehicles per day.
