The design for a new marina in Port Hedland is complete with early works set to begin in the coming months.
Following extensive consultation with the local community, this transformative project will deliver a vibrant waterfront destination for residents and visitors.
The project includes a four-lane boat ramp, a separate access channel to exit into deeper water, plus long-term capacity of up to 80 boat pens, trailer parking with the capacity for up to 200 bays and integrated foreshore development.
This project is being delivered in cooperation with the Pilbara Ports Authority, Pilbara Development Commission and the Town of Port Hedland.
