The existing Ocean Reef Boat Harbour will be transformed into a world-class waterfront precinct, becoming a thriving hub for tourism, jobs and a diverse range of housing options.

The marina will include a mix of waterfront cafes and restaurants, retail, residential dwellings, hotel and short-stay accommodation, plus Perth's first coastal pool, which will be available for locals and visitors to swim laps in and to play aquatic sports.

Work is currently underway to construct two new breakwaters. The northern breakwater reached its final length in October 2021 and the southern breakwater is due to reach its final length in early 2022.

On completion, it is expected the marina will provide ongoing employment for more than 900 people.
