The final sections of the Kwinana Freeway Principal Shared Path (PSP) between Mount Henry Bridge and Leach Highway are now complete, providing an uninterrupted 74km journey for riders and walkers between Mandurah and Perth CBD.

The project created 500 metres of new shared path between Leach Highway and Cranford Avenue, with an underpass at Cranford Avenue, as well as 500 meters of upgraded path between Cranford Avenue and Mount Henry Bridge.

The underpass has been transformed by Perth artist Darren Hutchens, with the artwork focusing on the native flora and fauna of the foreshore location.

The project improves network connectivity, safety and convenience for people walking and riding.

  • Provision of a safe route for people riding and walking in the area
  • New lighting, wayfinding signs, pavement markings and landscaping
