Three bridges along Great Northern Highway between Halls Creek and Kununurra are being replaced.

The single lane bridges over Arthur Creek, Frog Hollow Creek and Tickalara Creek will be removed and replaced with dual lane bridges.

Construction is under way, with initial works focussing on the Tickalara Creek and Frog Hollow Creek bridges. Expected completion is mid-June 2024.

Arthur Creek bridge works will be undertaken during the 2024 dry season.
