The Fascine waterway is one of Carnarvon's key assets, linking the community to its coast. This multi-faceted Department of Transport project involves finding long-term solutions for access issues at the waterway.
A dredging campaign was delivered between July 2023 to March 2024 within the Carnarvon Fascine and Teggs Channel.
The more sheltered dredging of the Fascine Entryway has been complete with delivery of improved vessel access.
Construction on 16 new floating pens at Carnarvon Boat Harbour is complete. The pens will help to immediately improve year-round ocean access.
