The Onslow Airport upgrades will involve improvements to pavement strength and runway length to support the operation of modern, larger aircraft that will improve connectivity for residents and visitors to the region.

This project is part of the Regional Airport Pavement Upgrades (RAPU), a State Government commitment to upgrade aircraft pavements at the regional airports of Albany, Carnarvon, East Kimberley (Kununurra), Eucla and Onslow. 

This project is being administered by the Department of Transport in partnership with the Shire of Ashburton.
