The New Mandurah Hospital project is a transformative investment in healthcare infrastructure for the Peel region, designed to meet the growing and evolving healthcare needs of the community.
The new hospital will deliver expanded clinical capacity and public services offered at the campus, enhanced patient care and improved access to vital health services. The redevelopment will replace all current services at the existing hospital.
A new mental health emergency centre features in the design, providing dedicated support for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. A new emergency department will also be delivered, designed to provide faster, more responsive care with increased treatment bays and short stay capacity.
Once complete, the New Mandurah Hospital will offer a significantly enhanced healthcare experience, with modern facilities, increased capacity and a strong focus on mental health and specialist services.
The project included the build of the recently opened Community Mental Health and Specialist Eating Disorder Clinic in Greenfields, Mandurah which offers consulting suites and therapy spaces for community mental health services.
