This major project spans from Karratha to Tom Price and is being complete in stages.

Stage 3 of this project involved sealing a 48 kilometre section of Roebourne-Whittenoom Road, known locally as Karratha to Tom Price Road, renamed Manuwarra Red Dog Highway upon opening.

The completion of Stage 3 provides road users a safe sealed road to access popular tourist attractions such as Millstream Chichester and Karijini National Park.

Stage 4 of this project is underway. Road construction on the first 10km if Stage 4a is expected to be completed by mid-2026. This final stage of construction will deliver a 110 kilometre section that will be completed over several years.
