Residents in Lakelands, Madora Bay and surrounds have a new travel option to choose from with the newest Mandurah Line station now open.

Located between Warnbro and Mandurah, METRONET's Lakelands Station features a pedestrian overpass, two platforms, kiss-and-ride facilities, a bus interchange, a 400-bay car park, and secure cycle storage facilities.

The new station, which provides a 50-minute commute to the CBD, will ease the growing demand for public transport in the southern suburbs through better access to rail services.

Visit Transperth for service information and to plan your journey.
