Planning is underway for the upgrade of Kwinana Freeway between Roe Highway and Safety Bay Road.
The projects plans include new northbound and southbound lanes, coordinated ramp signals on the northbound side of the freeway and improvements to safety barriers, surfaces and draining.
Kwinana Freeway is one of the busiest roads in Perth, accommodating approximately 100,000 vehicles a day.
This upgrade plans to improve transport infrastructure for future population growth demands while enhancing road safety and conditions.
