A number of safety improvements have been completed along Indian Ocean Drive between Two Rocks and Lancelin in an effort to reduce the risk of serious crashes and improve road safety.

The speed limit has been reduced from 110 km/h to 100 km/h, road signage upgraded, edge and centre audible line markings installed, the road widened, and four overtaking lanes constructed as part of the project.
