A number of improvements are currently underway along Indian Ocean Drive between Two Rocks and Lancelin in an effort to reduce the risk of serious crashes and improve road safety.

The speed limit will be reduced from 110 km/h to 100 km/h, road signage upgraded, installation of edge and centre audible line markings, widening of the road, and construction of four overtaking lanes will also be included as part of the project.
