A single lane, three-legged roundabout is currently under construction on Great Northern Highway at the intersection with Rutland Road.

The new roundabout will replace the existing T-junction at the busy Bullsbrook location, significantly changing the road environment to improve safety, enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion.

The intersection is currently used by 8,000 vehicles each day, including almost 900 heavy vehicles. The upgrades have been designed to accommodate heavy vehicles and high wide loads.

Project works also include the installation of new street lighting to improve road and traffic visibility at night.
