The intersection of Great Northern Highway and Pinga Street is being transformed into a new four-way interchange.

The project will support the development of Lumsden Point to facilitate the safe movement of over size over mass (OSOM) vehicles, and accommodate increased traffic volumes.

Upgrades include construction of a new roundabout, two 15 metre-long bridges with lanes in each direction, access ramps at Great Northern Highway, Pinga Street and the new access road to Lumsden Point.
