The Canning Bridge Bus Bridge Interchange will be upgraded and expanded to meet requirements for both existing and future passenger demands.

The new larger bus facility will include twelve active and eight layover stands, with improved entries to the station and pedestrian access.

Project plans also includes updates to the Principal Shared Path (PSP) network to create safer connections between the station, residential areas and foreshore.

Construction is anticipated to commence in mid-2027. Once complete, the upgrades will improve public transport reliability and optimise pedestrian and vehicle safety.
