The Canning Bridge Bus Bridge Interchange upgrade will be upgraded and expanded to meet requirements for both existing and future passenger demands.
The new larger bus interchange facility will include twelve active and eight layover stands, with improved entries to the station and pedestrian access.
The Principal Shared Path (PSP) network will be updated and connected by underpasses and bridges, creating safer connections between the station, residential areas and the foreshore.
The upgrades will improve public transport reliability and optimise pedestrian and vehicle safety. Construction is anticipated to commence in 2027.
