An upgrade of the Bidyadanga Airstrip is complete, supporting safe landings and jobs in remote Kimberley.
Improvements included corrective earth works to repair and smooth the runway shoulders and improve drainage, allowing the airstrip to support safe, year-round aviation access.
This project is part of the State Government's Aboriginal Community Airstrips Renewal Program (ACARP), which aims to ensure airstrips at remote Aboriginal communities are maintained and can safely support flights connecting people to critical services including essential health care.
