Batavia Coast Marina is a popular marina facility close to Geraldton city centre. It serves as a base for seasonal charters and recreational boaters.

This project will accommodate growing demand for boat pens, while boosting opportunities for growth in marine based tourism along the Batavia Coast.

Stage 1 works were completed in August 2025, delivering a jetty and 34 new boat pens for a total of 118.

An 18-bay public carpark was delivered in March 2026 along Wiebbe Hayes Lane, providing easier access for users and visitors.

Stage 2 involves the construction of Monument Promenade and Chambers Way and will deliver essential infrastructure including shared paths, roads, drainage, street lighting and landscaping.

The surface of the marina boat ramp has been identified for replacement. Design work is underway and will complement recent upgrades. Completion is anticipated in late-2026.

Once complete, Station Square will create a seamless link between Geraldton’s CBD, the marina, and key local destinations.
